Happy New Years!

Happy New Ye– Okay, I’ll cut the crap. So I haven’t posted in ummm, 3 months? Well, you see… the thing is… I um… Alright! Aright! I don’t have an excuse! I’m sorry, I just get lazy, I’m human too, right?

So because I never blog, I thought I blog about not blogging, do you other bloggers understand what I’m blogging about here?

Why? I ask myself, Why do I forget to write to these amazing people who read my boring little blog? Well, that’s mostly because this blog doesn’t mean that much to me and so it really shouldn’t for you crazy readers with no lifes either. But I apreciate that you read it when I actually do post!
Okay, so I don’t know if you remember but in my last post, I mentioned collecting and experimenting on slugs? Great, I know… (But not really) Out I went at 10 o’clock at night scouting for adorable little slimy slugs. In the dark. And the cold. And rain. And and and… so like yeah. The best part? I returned to the house with out anything but dirt, rainwater and an increasing hate for Biology class.

And what did we do to these slugs? Well, really we didn’t do anything terrible. We just tested to see what food they liked best, and then dumped the survivors into the ‘wild’. Unfortunatly, my partner’s slugs weren’t one of the lucky ones… We buried Slick and Slimy’s little corpses and held back our tears for these brave slugs that gave up their lifes for our cruel cruel games.

First Couple Days of School

September 6, 2008 - 2 Responses

Woo, school has started once again. I can’t wait to get so many projects that I no longer have a life! Oh, that was dripping with sarcasm by the way.

I’m now a Sophomore in Liverpool High School, but this is my first year in the ‘main  building’. Well, because there is so many students in my high school, they built what they call the Annex for all the little Freshman. It’s not too far away form the main building, but it’s a 3 or 4  minute walk. So this year I was dragged out of the cozy Annex and thrown into the main building busting with upperclassman.  Scary, scary upperclassmen!

Pushing my way through tall, short, sweaty, heavily perfumed, fat, skinny, and even nonexistent bodies I somehow found my way threw this huge three story high school with out too much trouble. Thank goodness someone was smart enough to put signs everywhere!

The first day of school I was confident. All my teachers seemed nice enough, and the curriculum didn’t seem too hard. Even if I did have to dissect a frog and a cow heart for Biology class. Even if my Math class was full of loud Juniors. Even if in my Global class was someone I couldn’t stand to even look at. Even if to get to my Tech class I had to walk back down to the Annex and possibly see my old Math teacher (and not to mention my little brother as well). Like I said, I was (and am) confident, and I want to make this year a good one! But we have a block schedule, and that meant I had another set of classes to go threw the next day. Walking home with my brother, I let him talk about his day as I turned up the volume on my iPod… ahhh. Day 1 completed!

Now day two… Before Spanish class I finally got to see my best friend! We quickly made plans to meet after school and talk more then, for the last bell was about to ring. My Spanish teacher likes to speak in Spanish, how weird is that? But the weirdest thing is that I was just about the only kid in the class who understood her when she spoke… Why didn’t I take honors? Then Academic Support, a class where you can go see teachers if you need help, do homework, or take a nice nap if your teacher lets you. I basically read threw the block like I usually do, it’s always a nice break. Scanning my map, I found the 400 wing and quickly traced my finger the path I would have to go right before the bell rang to leave. Well, I got lost along the way. Everyone says the 400s are the hardest to find! Really! I had to ask some scary security guard to point me in the right direction… Finally, I arrived in English class and let out a sigh as I heard the bell ring after I was in my seat. My energetic teacher seems ok. As long as she doesn’t hate me for my terrible spelling, I won’t hate her.

Finally, the last class of the day and the week. School started on a Thursday oddly enough. I have Biology again because it was  a lab day. And of course my teacher loads us with work and gives us a time limit! We all worked hard being the smart little honor students that we are and by the end of the day I wanted to go take a long nap. Oh, did I mention she gave us homework? Not the usual ditto, or vocab to study, but to go collect slugs. Yes, slugs. So later today I have to go out (in the rain) to go collect half a dozen or so slugs to bring back and experiment on. I don’t want to know what she has planned to do to these little shell less snails…

My first blog post.

August 29, 2008 - Leave a Response

I haven’t had too much luck with keeping my blogs up and running, but who really has? …Right? So I wouldn’t get your hopes up that this blog is staying up for long if I were you.

Let’s see… so as you’re reading my posts, you’ll might, or might not if you aren’t observant, see that I will be writing about what is currently big in my life. It will be mostly what you would expect in any fifteen year old girl’s blog. Minus the drama.

Because this is taking me so long, I’m gonna cut it short because I have places to be and people to see. Quite literally.

So stay tuned for more posts?
